Description

We have Myers, Hamonic, Schenn, Burroughs, and Poolman down the right side. How can we get Marino or Schneider or Severson when we still have these guys. Myers is overpaid and trade value more than likely isn’t that high. No one wanted Hamonic when he was free. Poolman maybe moveable. Schenn for sure is moveable. So what tells me trading for any of those other particular RHD would make sense with those guys in the way? Y’all forget about them? Man y’all Canucks fans are so annoying. If it’s going to be a RHD it’ll be a prospect if anything honestly. Like it or not we stuck with Hamonic and Myers.

I don’t think many prospects will be traded this deadline, but with the amount of guys they are making available, I like Vancouvers odds of ending up with a Schneider, Lundkvist, Walsh, Faber, etc.

Canucks are targetting Stud defenseman no matter the handedness they play. They will literally scratch/trade one of Hamonic/Poolman/Schenn if they make a move to acquire a RHD.

Marino will look great in Blue, Green, and White

None of those guys are in the way. Replacing any of them with actual quality players is extremely important. But by all means keep running 6/7/8 defenceman on the right side.

Myers gets easier to move as time passes and there has been some rumored interest in him as it stands. Hamonic and Poolman are not as immovable as you believe and if its a roster spot you are worried about, either can be waived to Abby. Creating a roster opening and THEN looking for the young D prospect seems kind of backwards. If a player can take a roster spot that spot can always be made available. Seems like a lot of drama for nothing IMO.
