The funniest part is that his numbers are actually slightly better than Chiarot's this year. Or, possibly funnier, is that they traded a 1st (14OA), 2nd and Hagg for him. There's still hope, Habsters!

Knew it was coming. Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Indifferent is the best way to describe the feeling right now. Don’t hate the player if someone offered that much to me I’d gladly take it too.

I am a flyers fan and don't hate this at all, Sanhiem is having an excellent year playing with Risto. Risto brings physicality to this soft team, he gets way to much hate, and it could have been worse payment. He would probably get 6-6.5 on the open market with the current available RHD. We have worse issues with Provorov who's been atrocious this year making 6.75.

Honest to god I'd rather Jones. He can at least hang in the NHL, whereas I'm not convinced Risto is an NHL calibre Dman

This...that's the issue when you *think* you're a contender, but you're really, realllllly not. They also gave away 12 OA for 32 OA in that deal. Crazzzzzy.

Gotta love it...considering that Duchene/Panarin/Bob/whoever else walked without Columbus getting a dime, somehow two-ish years later he's going to have what could easily be one of the top farm systems in the league. Imagine if he snags Nemec? D-Core set for the next 5+ years.

This is the same feeling that I had when we traded JVR for Luke Schenn 1:1. What time of the day do you have to start drinking to get beat so badly?
