Frankly, I think it more likely Marchenko plays than KJ, mostly because I think KJ's going to end up taking some AHL time. But that's just a guesstimate.

CBJ won’t let Marchenko or Johnson be scratched. They’ll go the Cleveland.

Honestly, I’m always in favor of easing players in that way, so I wouldn’t be surprised if either/both start the season there.

I may be wrong on this, but don't foudy and bemstrom both have to pass through waivers if they don't make it in Columbus? If that is the case, at least one of them is gone. Also, Jarmo didn't sign Danforth to an extension to scratch him. Gus has to be moved and at $2.75M he is a great deal. One of Johnson or Marchenko has to start out in Cleveland.
