Yeah, Florida ain't trading a promising young prospect and a decent D for a 37 year old veteran with 3 years left on his deal when hey have Huberdeau on an expiring deal. Horrible deal!

I like the deals for Dallas, but if we're being real we're walking off as clear winners in both exchanges.

I think the Armia/Faksa swap has legs here. Adding Petry is possible but man retaining on him is just not an option IMO. Mainly because Habs will need the retention spots for other players. I would rather take back Khudobin than retain on Petry to be honest. But for sure, a 3rd and 4th won't be enough as the sweetener in the trade. Petry is still capable of providing quality minutes and if no offers meet a good enough threshold, they'll gladly keep him. RHD are such a premium right now and any of the good ones will cost what Petry is getting if not more in free agency anyway.
