Feel like Sakic is slowly but surely becoming one of the best GMs of this era.
Just chalking up win after win after win in drafting, trading and signing.
Every move he makes gives Colorado a better chance at immediate or future success.

Perfect for both sides, Frankie stays in a situation that he feels comfortable with and avs get a back up goalie that fits within their cap structure.

Good signing. It was a bit iffy after the injury that caused him to miss all of last season, but he seems to be back to his 2019 form. I suspect they used Raanta as a comparable.

I wonder if they’ll try to extend Kuemper too, or if they’ll wait to see how he does in the playoffs first.

Has immensely succeeded at every level. If gone to UFA, he could've gotten started / tandem role in somewhere like Buffalo or Arizona.
He could've gotten 3.5m × 2
Great signing for 1 of the best backups in the game.

when he is healthy he has proven to be a capable backup, I dont see much upside, but considering their lack of depth in net, this is a solid signing.
