Faksa

Created by: Billy739
Team: 2021-22 Montreal Canadiens
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 12, 2022
Published: Mar. 12, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Poehling top 20 games for Ice Time only 2 came under MSL so far
His 4 points per 12 games under MSL is not really much different then his 4 points per 15 under DD
While he's playing less minutes he's winning Faceoffs more consistently and doesnt finish almost every game with a Minus

I'm not saying all this to try to sell Poehling to others
I'm saying this to tell MTL fans at best we're investing in a player we wont keep long term
Its time to move on and stop spitting minutes with Evans in bottom 6
Faksa offers MTL a Bulk faceoffs Center for Defensive Zone Faceoffs in which Dvorak was forced to take the majority of them as Suzuki struggles with them constantly waived out as does Poehling. Evans is ok enough in DZ but it makes more sense to acquire a Faksa to play with Armia and Pezatta offering us value as a Physical line who has some speed

All 3 Centers in Suzuki , Dvorak and Evans would all see much more Offensive Zone Time
Our Defensive Zone Time would consist largely of two 6'3 skaters and 6'1 skater who are all 210-220 pounds and love to hit people

We'll never get enough wins to do anything this year and will likely still finish bottom 3
But Next year with Price/Allen(or Montembault) back with our current D core i like our odds

If Guerin trades for this dude with having dumba and greenway on the team , then Guerin should never talk about character again. Ryan poehling is not a good human being. Minnesota should decline, the value shouldn't matter

Really well thought out and concise explanation. Seems like a no-brainer for both teams now that you mention it

His tweets when George floyd was killed and the ensuing protests in Minnesota. He also retweeted horrible ignorant tweets from his dad who retweeted horrible tweets and to be Frank, the tweets were very ignorant. Both he and his dad are alike. A person who can be raised to lack any sort of understanding and compassion for the black community and people of other race , doesn't deserve to play for wild or any team

After George's floyd's murder , tweets by him and his dad and then retweets by them. It was nothing more bs. Cowardly tweets by poehling and his dad

Why isnt he "a good humanbeing"
He doesnt fit our system , my point is typical Cause vs Effect

You're however is seemingly more agressive attacking him personally
Im just curious as to why ?

He along with his dad retweeted tweets calling Minneapolis a hell hole, bashing George floyd, etc.. this has everything to do with the actions of him and his dad during a hurtful time, and during a horrible time in the black community

He supposedly retweeted trumps "all lives matter". Not sure that makes him a bad human being like @Wildnochance claim him to be

Obviously they werent important
You just keep blindly mentioning something he said without actually stating what he said

If you have a point make it
But dont just trying to make this about your politics making you Intollerant by Definition
2 rights dont make a wrong and you cant fight Hate with Hate
You Either stand for more or you're the same **** in a differnt pile

If you said he's a Tony D'eangelo level Racist i'd get it
But as a Native i see White people talking about a concept that cant appreciate

No, he retweeted more than that. A whole lots more during a hurtful time and during a time in Minnesota, around the world and in Minneapolis where a lot of black people including myself had to have talk with our families about interactions with police

I am a black person. So don't sit here and tell me that I can't react to poehling the way I am. I saw his tweets. I saw the retweets of his dad tweets. The tweets were not only ignorance, they were outright making fun of the situation in Minneapolis. Sorry some things are unforgivable

That's a fair point. I can't relate but I can definitely support your decision to react the way you are. It would seem more and more people these days are lacking common sense, and general compassion for others.

Thank you. I was surprised. I remember responding to him on Twitter. Like what he doesn't know, black families especially black Males every day they go out have a plan in place about how to interact with police or how to avoid being stop by police all together. I was beyond shocked to see a black tweet and then the retweets by him during a very difficult time for lots of black families remains hurtful

Yeah i dont buy it
The POV you speak from isnt personal its being Projected

When i talk about My Culture as a Native its First Person accounts
What you're saying here just sounds like Liberals saying what they must to win an argument they think ill care about lol

You don't buy what? I don't give a damn whether you or anybody else do it not. Yeah what I am saying is projected, not poehling himself who told on who he's and how he was raised during a very difficult time. It's always funny having people like you trying to brush aside feelings, emotions that are coming from a black person. You clearly don't know me or know how my interactions have gone with police as a black Male. I literally was threatened with jail by a white policeman in high school because I was having an emotional breakdown

There's a reason for that
Given an inch, A mile is Taken

I vote based on Policy only
I voted Liberal in 2/3 last elections as such
I'd never conform to a Liberal or Conservative mindset as it rots the brain
It takes away independent thought and is a lazy way not to look at the Platforms going on blind faith

That said liberals Ruined Comedy and actually hindered societies ability to laugh together
To find similarities in our Difference and Laugh instead of Argue or Fight
Its far from the only Example of Compassion being manipulated and exploited

I'd love to take it on blind faith that Poehlings an evil person for Tweeting something
But by that logic everyone on this Forum is a Monster if we all checked out our timelines
I mean the stuff i said about Trump would make a sailor blush

I feel Society ignores Context to avoid making any real change on purpose
If we worked together and were happy then we'd all wake up demanding more
The top 1% would not like that

Not a bad idea, but would look better if we could follow it up by flipping Poehling for a young RHD.

Tried
I searched every team that could use him
Only thing i can think of is Poehling for Timmins who's 1 injury from retiring

Only other scenario i could Fathom is Lehkonen @ 1.15m with Poehling for Cernak or Foote and a 1st
Hell we'd even take Alex Green who's about a half season from being ready to get a shot at the NHL like Foote did

Allard, Woo, Skinner, Puutio, just a few off the top of my head I might look into.

If we're setting the bar that low then Steve Santini i guess could worth looking at
But really We want a RD on Mailloux Timeline
We need a player we can use 2-3 years then flip

That said Allard kinda fits that Joe Morrow,Mike Reilly and have been with Brett Kulak
Kulak did his job with Chiarot but now Harris and Ghule are ready and waiting

We want that same process from whomever plays with Mailloux in top 4
Its easier to Draft those types of players though
Attard in PHI could fit the bill though

There's options, but Poehling is 23 and hasn't shown any particular aptitude or production, so he's not high value. Getting a 3rd pair RHD would be good enough for me, younger the better of course.
