LMFAO. Sakic laughs, hangs up and blocks Vancouver's number.

Not sure about the RHD premise either as there are none in the trade.

You’re valuation of your players is off by a bit. Miller and Boeser don’t get that much in return

What is this?? Dermott is a LHD, so is Byram. Trading a RHD in Hamonic for a LHD in Dermott. Hamonic for Liljegren would make sense but you would likely have to add on the Canucks side and include retention.

So let’s get this straight for the the final time.

COL isn’t trading Newhook straight up for Miller.
COL isn’t trading Byram straight up for Miller.

Miller isn’t elite no matter what VAN fans and bloggers think. He would be no better than COL’s 7th best player and a second liner.

I mean it’s funny VAN fans are so out of touch with reality when I once thought they were some of the most knowledgeable fan bases, now their starting to rival MTL fans as most delusional.

maybe you should look up players stats before commenting, would make you look less like a fool, Miller in 57 games 23G 46A for 69P, Rantanen in 56 games 27G 40A for 67P, he would become 2nd in points in COL behind only Kadris 72P.

Miller is worth at least one of Newhook or Byram, whether Miller is what COL needs is another debate.

Bro you’re delusional. Miller is a .69 ppg career player, Rantanen is .98 ppg player. There isn’t a GM in the league that trades Rantanen for Miller it isn’t even close. On the Avs Miller is the 5th best forward fact. He doesn’t play on the top line, doesn’t play on PP1. What was Miller in NY and TBL. A 2nd line player. A fool is someone like you who thinks Miller is a top line player on the Avs. The Avs DO NOT trade either Newhook or Byram for Miller, he isn’t what they need. What they need is health. I love how guys like you think that Miller producing points on a borderline playoff team is the same thing as producing points on a cup contender where there is more talent and less ice time, or that a team that is getting close to the cap and has big contracts to give out is going to trade one of their two stud ELC guys for a guy that they have for 15 months. Nice try and thanks for playing but that isn’t happening. If that’s the price COK says thanks but no thanks and goes elsewhere.

Sorry you did say if COL needed Miller was another debate.

never said Miller and Mikko were comparable skill wise, just points wise, this year, never said Miller would be a 1st line player in COL, clearly you do not understand how the NHL works, Prospects get traded for established players all the time, Newhook is not even is the same category as Miller right now, Depth wins cups, if COL feels this year is their year to make trades to win the cup, they would do a trade like this, Miller helps them now, Newhook does not, never said COL should make the trade, just saying right now Miller is worth that.

Clearly you don’t know how it works. Newhook isn’t a prospect he is the 3C now, and with Landeskog out he is going to slide into the top 6. He is on an elc and isn’t going anywhere. If VAN asking price is ridiculous like this COL just goes else where, like Giroux if they are looking to make a move.

Miller easily gets more than one of Newhook or Byram in terms of value. The only reason you're saying no is because you're an Avalanche fan that really wants to keep Byram and Newhook.

No he doesn’t. You can think that, but Miller is the 5th best forward in the Avs and the 8th best player. He’s a career .69ppg player. There is ZERO chance the Avs would trade either for Miller. Newhook already the 3C on elc, has 60point potential, and is on his elc again next year. Zero chance the Avs trade him. Byram before getting hurt established himself as not just top 4 but top pairing capable, again on an ELC. Zero chance COL would trade him. You’re free to think what you want but if the price for Miller is either of them the Avs pass. Every time.
