Dubas has to go all in, can't afford another playoff failure. Canucks said to want a 1st, Player and a prospect for Millier. Fleury gets to go to a contender. Clutterbuck for grit. Manson the shutdown D they desperately need. Room to add another depth D if needed. Spezza and Simmonds rotate.

Canucks wanted 3-4 pieces for Miller a month ago. His value has gone up even further now. If you want Miller, it will cost either 3 pieces including a really good young RHD, or 4 pieces which will likely include two first round picks in the leafs case.

None of these trades are close. This is not going all in, this is expecting other teams to bend over and take it.

I totally understand if that’s all Manson is worth to you, but the Ducks can absolutely do better elsewhere. And if for some reason they couldn’t, they’d just sign him because he wants to stay. That’s not enough value.

Miller to the leafs is dead now, the guy is on pace for 100 points and will get hart votes if the Canucks make the playoffs. Vancouver should 100 percent flip him at the draft, they could get a HAUL for him.
