Description

Don't know what the market will be for Subban, he'll likely sign for more, and pick any team for the Dickinson deal.

The idea here is to invest in this group over the short term, and rebuild the right side of the defense over the course of the next two to three seasons. Start by taking either Chesley, Luneau or Salomonsson in the draft. With that added to Woo and Persson, it's a start. Then see what you can add from Europe or the US college free agent pools, and then try and add again from moving either Miller or Horvat at the 2023 TDL if you have to.

I like the idea of Subban. Sounds like that group can use another vocal alpha dog in the room.

I don't think term or money to subban is a good idea, I think that he would be another Myers, Hamonic, Poolman who will be relegated to the 3rd pair. I like the boeser contract tho. And motte on that contract aint it.

Boeser has a QO of 7.5 why would he sign for 6.5 and this is perfect no cap to sign miller or Horvat

boeser contract is good if you get him to sign it

motte if you are signing him to a 4 year deal it should be 1.5mil

and we would be lucky even get anything in return for dickinson

did you not see the jesperi kotkaniemi deal, qo was around 6.1mil but he signed for less money and a longer term so he can secure the bag

i would reccomend boeser to do the same because he is so injury prone

Canucks should not give Motte that much money. Let another team do that and find a similar player for 1-1.5M cheaper
