Nope. Wild ren't trading a top prospect for D when they don't have a room for another or cap to take on another d.

Why are Florida giving up Noel and a second for nothing? Am I missing something.

I would like the Sabres to retain if they can get good value, and by that I mean a first. Keep the 5th, shop elsewhere. Also, one of our media guys was just saying that he doubts the Sabres are gonna be taking on any additional salary regardless of the return, our owners have circled the wagons, as after a decade of losing, fans have finally stopped going to games. Which is what I've been saying all along- cap space is like anything else, there's no point giving it away if somebody will pay. And a 5th is worthless.

Braun seems like a 5th or 6th round pick 5 mins before the deadline player to me.

thats fair. i just dont see the sabres using up 82.5M in cap. they will probably have, at least, 10 million to spare. retaining the 1.75 million at next year's deadline would probably make more sense

yeah, but I'd take him for a 3rd right this minute.

If a 3rd was the price that Flyers are getting for Braun, he’d already be on another team.
