Asking Prices if willing to move

Created by: Dekes
Team: 2021-22 Boston Bruins
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 9, 2022

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Just wondering what asking price would be, even if not available at current moment still interested in a realistic return for them
Trades
1.
BOS
  1. Schmaltz, Nick
Additional Details:
buddy is on steroids would love him centering hall and pasta or even playing RW1
ARI
2.
BOS
  1. Brodin, Jonas
Additional Details:
one of the top Defensive dmen in the league would pair nicely with mcavoy as he still can chip in offensively while forming potentially the best defensive pairing in the league
MIN
3.
BOS
  1. Granlund, Mikael
  2. Johansen, Ryan ($2,000,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Granlund would be a near perfect fit for the 2nd line, pass first center is solid two way and his creativity with the puck and great passing vision would create pasta more space to having more high danger opportunities, still can pot a few goals so teams still need to be wary of him shooting unlike krech where they knew he was always looking to pass

Johansen has been one of my favourite players ever since he played in columbus, his size is great and he plays like a pass first powerforward, he is hard to push around and is excellent and setting up his teammates, has always produced in playoffs, only problem is B's would need nashville to retain most likely somewhere around the 6-7 mill mark would need to be his contract
NSH
4.
BOS
  1. Bennett, Sam
Additional Details:
with lundell breaking out big time as a rookie and reinhart also playing very well could bennett be the odd man out at C?
FLA
5.
BOS
  1. Mercer, Dawson
  2. Sharangovich, Yegor
Additional Details:
some young C's that have impressed me so far
NJD
6.
BOS
  1. Nelson, Brock
Additional Details:
are they selling or no? too far behind to make playoffs, is trotz and lamoriello hoping this is a fluke year will it take one more bad - average season for them to decide to retool
NYI
7.
BOS
  1. Thompson, Tage
Additional Details:
very impressive this season, his size is one of a kind when it comes to his skill but still to this day the one thing that always pops up in my mind when his name is brought up was him trying to stick up for his teammate and got absolutely fed his breakfast by kevan miller not once but twice ill give the kid credit for getting back up for more after miller dropped him once already
BUF
8.
BOS
  1. Jenner, Boone
Additional Details:
love everything about jenners game, he was by far one of the best and most impressive players in the B's vs Columbus series in 2018-19 ever since then i've wanted him on our team idk if i would play him at 2C as idk if he could keep up with pasta and hall's speed but he would form probably the best defensive line if lined with marchy and bergy

just wanna note B's have a recurring theme of acquiring CBJ's captains ex. Nash and foligno hopefully they could get jenner though before he is past his prime and has terrible injury issues like the other 2

2 captains doesn't seem like much but CBJ has only had 7 in their history so that puts B's at a 29% rate of trading for a CBJ captain

For Mercer and Sharangovich, there isn't anything that the Bruins have that the Devils want (excluding McAvoy, Pasta, etc)

Devils are not likely to move Mercer or Sharangovich.
And Bruins don't have a lot of age 20-24 assets to return anyway.

I don't see us moving Brodin unless it's for something ridiculously stupid. He's our best defenseman on a steal of a contract

I guarantee you that none of these players will be moved any time soon. Maybe Schmaltz, but that's it.

More specifically, with Florida, why would the team move Bennett just because Lundell will be better than him soon? You can't have too many good players. A top 3C core of Barkov, Lundell, and Bennett is going to be here for a while. Center depth is very important for success.

If it's for "cap reasons", the team will just move Hornqvist.

A lot of names of guys who aren't available and Boston can't really afford to overpay assets for guys.

Bennett would more be an off-season move, hornqvists contract won’t be enough with barkov and verhaege both getting rather large raises and huberdeau due for one soon aswell Florida will have to clear cap sooner or later

No chance NSH trades Granlund. Johansen wouldn't be completely out of the question, in the off-season. But your request for a realistic return isn't likely, if you're asking NSH to retain $2M until 2025.

Jonas brodin is one of the best dman in the NHL and shutdown d. He's absolutely not available and will not get moved.

They just have to get through next year, when their buyout penalties are high. After that, it'll get easier.

Also, Reinhart hasn't really been playing center, rather he has found tremendous chemistry on Lundell's wing, so his performance isn't making Bennett more expendable.

I can safely say that Brodin is not going to move anytime soon
