If you want to keep the core in-tact for years

Created by: User123409871234
Team: 2022-23 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 14, 2022
Published: Mar. 14, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Not saying this is realistic at all, but if the Wild are in a position where they want to keep all of their core pieces on this team, and see what they have in the youngsters. Taking a route similar to this could be what we see to get through the depths of the buy-out years.

No need to trade Hartman for pennies. The guy is on a steal of a contract that helps us through the worst part of the buyouts

Why would you trade hartman? He’s having an amazing year and has a very cap friendly contract?

As much as I’d love to see heads explode when an Edmonton GM gives up futures to get Talbot back after he was basically run out of town, it’s not going to happen. Price doesn’t seem terribly far off though.

Minnesota isn't trading Hartman. They aren't trading the only Russian speaking besides kaprizov in Dmitry kulikov. Literally Dmitry helps explain things to kaprizov in Russian

Because his shooting % is double his career norm. It’s an unsustainable anomaly. Trading while his value is at it’s highest would not be unwise.

Not saying they do it. But that’s why.

So what happened last year when Kulikov wasn't there? He just didn't get anything explained to him? Seems like you are spreading misinformation.

Dmitry has been stapled to kaprizov on bench and in videos. Also I am sure he has a Russian player who he can speak Russian with

I feel like they'd move Dumba before they'd trade Hartman or Talbot
