Yes konency will completely reset the culture and get this team to first place!
It’s proven! Just look at how his culture setting attitude is helping the flyers! Oh wait..

Yes both need a change. Leaf fans that think they are close are just fooling themselves. They will soon be a wildcard team.

I mean they are close. Just as close as the majority of top teams in the league. Hockey is pretty random, sometimes ya just need better goaltending and a few bounces to go your way and things don’t seem so horrible.

Close to what a Cup?
Like I said, if things keep heading the direction they are, Boston will pass them, and the Leafs will be a wild card team.
Do you think that roster they have is built can beat Tampa, Calgary, Colorado, Carolina, St.Louis, Florida in a 7 game series?
The Leafs are a good team, and will be a 6-12 team in the NHL.

What’s the difference between 2nd or 3rd and the wildcard? The path is still most likely 3 of Florida, Tampa, Carolina, Boston.
Luckily they wouldn’t have to beat st.Louis, Calgary and Colorado. Could only face one of them in the final.
Don’t matter if they are 6-12, they need to win round 1 and then be final 8. Get momentum and confidence and go on a run. They have enough talent to do it, yes there are flaws, I’m just saying they are almost just as likely to get it together and win a round or two as they are to just lose again.
Cause hockey has a lot of randomness in it, especially when the Margins are thin in the playoffs.
One bounce last year in game 6 ot and no one is talking about how they can’t win.
Again they have to prove they can do it still. This is most likely the last chance with this whole core

And you think this mess you put together gets them any closer? You have Braun on the top pair (he's a third pair guy) Matt n Jones is gonna what remember how to play goal all of the sudden?

You've managed to strap this team with cap and make it a worse team all at once

They are less cap strapped than before with this trade.
I just put him there but once Muzzin is back than Put him or Brodie back there.
Jones can't be worse than Marzek right now either. Unfortunate that there is nothing out their goaltending wise unless you give up a ton of your future.

Never said they have a win culture. Juts said the Culture in TO needs to change, which would mean move a big name.

So the one thing we know for sure is the problem in TO isn't Nylander or the forward group at all, it's a missing 1 - top 4 Dman and below average Goaltending for about a month. The world isn't ending here nor have the wheels fallen off. Your over exaggerating a little here and besides if it's a "core 4 " you want moved then move the 11 million dollar Tavares

I would agree, but you won’t be able to move Tavares. No one wants him or his 11 Mil and he has a no trade clause.
They are more than a goalie and D man away from a cup in my opinion. And that’s the ultimate goal, not just win 1 round.
