Well, this would be a good deal for both sides.

If Pat Verbeek deals Hampus Lindholm he'll get a far better offer then this.

Anaheim declines. Stolarz is worth quite a bit more than Woll, and Lindholm with 50% retention is worth more than a late 2022 first and a third-pairing left defenseman, of whom we already have three.

How? Ducks downgrade at backup goaltender and flip their top d for a late first and a fringe defencemen

A late first is still a first. Why do people treat a 1st like some kind of throw away? Every GM selling expects a 1st, but I highly doubt we'll see many 1st rd picks dealt this TDL. There's not many to go around.

Lindholm is a top D though. There’s gonna be a bidding war for him. 6 other teams easily beat this offer. Picture this: Reilly hasn’t signed his extension yet, leafs nation’s getting anxious, and dubas decides to pull the trigger on a deal sending away the leafs top d man for a first round pick that can hopefully produce in 3-4 years and a defencemen that will be a healthy scratch most nights, how would you feel?

Fair point. In your estimation, what would it take to move the needle for both Lindholm and Stolarz?

I don’t know much - or anything - about leafs prospects, but I think the bidding war for Lindholm - retained - will probably push to a first, mid round pick, and high prospect; he is a top D after all. To upgrade Woll to Stolarz would probably just take a third or fourth

Ehh I don’t think Anaheim would move Stolarz if that was it for the return

Only way they would would be if they’re ready to try dostal as the regular backup, so maybe an offseason move. Then again I know next to nothing about the ducks so my opinion doesn’t mean **** next to yours

I think it’ll be next years deadline for him to be dealt then Dostal is up. I think he needs a little more time on the North American ice

If there’s a quality offer for Stolarz in the off season I wouldn’t be surprised if they moved him and signed a vet to be the 3rd goalie behind Gibson and Dostal.

We have one slightly used Mrazek? No dents or scratches, since the puck never hits him.
