There's not much realism in ARI taking a pile of meh contracts from EDM or a playoff racer moving important depth assets imo.

Arizona needs players under contract as it's gonna be tough to try and swing free agents next year playing a college stadium, and also having less than 10 players under contract next year. The Stars should role with Oettinger as their guy, and ficsher can replace raffl on the stars third line.

The contract thing is a valid point, but sounds to me more like a draft day deal rather than a deadline one.
