Was reported today it would take more than a late 2nd for the Canucks to move Motte

For Lehkonen, considering he's already a solid 3rd line guy and still young, you would probably have to send something that represent an upgrade for the future. Probably a prospect that has the potential to play top 6(offense) or top 4(defense).

Habs asking price for Lehkonen is a 1st. Not that he will 100% fetch a 1st, they'd be happy to keep him if they don't get a satisfying offer as they still own his rights for next season.

I think Lou would take a prospect & a 2nd rounder for those players, but I don't think Lou is selling yet until last minute on the 21st

Lehkonen is a good RHD with top 4 potential or a good C with top 6 potential, plus a pick depending on the quality of said prospect to offset the risk of them not panning out. That could mean no pick or a conditional pick if there's enough certainty with the prospect.

I used to feel it was a 2nd and a decent prospect, but he's looking better as a keeper than trade bait. Potential for a trade can be pushed to a later year if the offer isn't enticing enough.

Assuming Barron is off the board, Giroux is probably a 1st + Olaousson

I would say a 3rd round pick for Clutterbuck. Parise should fetch about the same.

Des is likely worth a 4th rounder. That said, as a Ducks fan I just wouldn't move him for that. I'd gladly sacrifice the 4th to have him on the roster keeping the kids safe for th enext 20+ games

COL
Paul, Nicholas
Sanford, Zachary
OTT

Paul - a good 2nd, front half of the round, or a latter 2nd and a late 3rd
Sanford - 4th, his price was set when they got him, he’s still the same player as then

That's what people don't get when saying "He's not worth a first round pick haHAhaHa", he's an RFA that we'll just keep if anything, nobody says he's worth a 1st but if a GM sends in an offer Hugues can't refuse, well he can't refuse it...
