No. Minnesota isn't taking on cap dump of Kerfoot and Alexander Kerfoot. Also, as great nylander is, we don't have the cap or room for another Winger. Greenway was just resigned and is too important to greenway and foligno line. Also no to Hartman whose our current 1c and on cheap contract. We also aren't trading dumba and making our d worse, so Minnesota declines

Kerfoot has 43 points in 59 games if anything his contract is a bargain.

No because he's a bottom line Winger. He would be in Minnesota, a 4th liner. But yeah, neither team does

So Kerfoot is a cap dump but is not far off scoring as many points as Hartman has? That's capfriendly logic. Everyone on the leafs is a cap dump.

K, and Kerfoot is scoring at near a 60 point pace at 3.5 million. He's a great contract. Nylander is on an above 70 point pace and has a great contract and Holl has been a 20+ minute defenceman for the better part of 2 years at 2 million. There are no cap dumps here.

I think it goes without saying that the Wild don't touch this for a variety of reasons.

Holl is a cap dump. Dude hasn't been good and won't play in Minnesota. Kerfoot is a bottom line Winger whose not a fit for Minnesota. So Minnesota still declines

Only on capfriendly does a 2 million dollar player who's played top 4 minutes on a good team for 2 years can be considered a cap dump. Although let's be honest, if he played for any other team, he'd have a great deal of value. It's funny how a guy can be quite good for a long time, have a great contract and still be a cap dump.

Don’t bother explaining. He does that all the time. Now, as a MIN fan, the trade is too blockbuster to my taste. If there is a possibility to acquire Kerfoot alone, I would be considering that. But, for sure, we do not have a room for Holl and plenty of good wingers.

I don't like the trade either. Nylander is the best player in it and I am not sure if Dumba really helps us. He's not really the type of defenceman I think they need. It's just not a great fit here

To me he is like a little bit worse than Joey Manson whom has just been traded for an equivalent of two seconds. But we have plenty minute eating defensemen and we need puckmovers. Also, our left side is worse than our right side.

Yeah, Dumba might never be back to his previous offensive numbers, but he is gritty, provocative, he is a leader, and he is our boy. We the fans love him. If he would take a $6 mil long term contract similar to Brodin’s, I ll be good with that.
