Interesting move, frees up some cap. Hard fall for Jost from being a 1st round pick

Cap space moves adds so much more drama cause it guarantees more trades.

What's Sakic's next move?

Don’t hate or love the deal. Sturm probably fill the bottom 6 4c pk role better than jost was but the cap space to do something else is what is interesting

Until they see what they do with that cap space. Trades in progress

I wouldn’t call him a bust at all, disappointing sure but come on dude is getting paid to be a pro hockey player.

Is that the standard top 10 picks are held to?

Well it’s all relative isn’t it? Some drafts are stronger than others. But you want to call him a bust feel free.

MTL head scout wanted Tyson Jost if Sergachev wasn’t available
That would have been another bad pick for MTL frown

Jost was a monster in the BCHL and followed that up with a ppg season at UND. COL was coming off a 48pt season, he was dropped into the NHL and should have been dropped into the AHL. Definitely underperformed for a 10th overall pick, hopefully a change of scenery does him good. He really is one of the nicest people off the ice in the league. That all being said I was hoping COL would take Chychrun with that pick.
