also honourable mention to justin holl who plays well when not tied to a rusty boat anchor

Isles don't want Mrazek, and Holl isn't really a desirable asset. I honestly don't think that Toronto and the Islanders line up on this deal unless Toronto wants to throw Niemela in the deal instead of Hirvonen.

Mrazek and Holl are toxic assets. I think each player you want to trade for is probably gonna command a 1st round pick on their own without taking back two bad players. Islanders say hard pass.

One bad half season for Mrazek and all he’s done in the past goes out the window. Talk about recency bias. Also holl is a solid 5/6 dman. It’s just Toronto needs to upgrade that 4th spot so Holl is gonna be the one to go (most likely). Definitely better than Greene/Chara
