Yeah, these types of AGMs make us nucks fans look bad. Right now, Brock wouldn't even be a 1 for 1 with Fiala, and especially not for Reinhardt. A Brock trade needs to be with a team with some cap flex and a young RHD. A contender won't want him.

Fiala > Boeser, If Minny moves Fiala because of their up and coming cap crunch. How does it make any sense to deal him for Boeser When both are likely to make 7x7 each.

Fiala is worth more than Boeser and probably gets less. And if Fiala is dealt, it will be open up cap space. Terrible trade for the Wild here

In what way is Boeser better than Fiala then? Cause it's most certainly not 5v5 play where Fiala out produces him with way less help. Neither are great 2-way guys.

No one is saying they're miles apart, they're fairly close but I'm definitely taking Fiala. He's over a P/GP since Boldy (the only competent offensive linemate he's had in over a year) got called up. He's less reliant on secondary assists as well.

    Last 3 seasons:

    Goals per GP
    Fiala: 0.37
    Boeser: 0.33

    Points per GP
    Fiala: 0.86
    Boeser: 0.77

    5v5 G/60
    Fiala: 1.08
    Boeser: 0.68

    5v5 P/60
    Fiala: 2.49
    Boeser: 1.79

    ES TOI per GP
    Fiala: 13:38
    Boeser: 15:08

    PP TOI per GP
    Fiala: 2:38
    Boeser: 3:41

    PPP/60
    Fiala: 5.56
    Boeser: 4.17

    xGAR
    Fiala: 22.1
    Boeser: 11.7

    xWAR
    Fiala: 3.9
    Boeser: 2.1

And since Boldy's first game (the first time Fiala has had a real top six linemate in three seasons), Fiala has 33 points in 27 games.

So what exactly is Boeser better at? Fiala has done more with less opportunity. Honestly it's not that close.

Fiala has absolutely had more help than Boeser, it's all Matthew Boldy. Boeser doesn't have a linemate like that

I think you need your eyes checked. But let's pass on the subjectivity. @Caerii did a really good job of laying out a bunch of stats that any idiot should be able to understand justifying the Fiala > Boeser take. Or did you just choose to ignore them because they don't fit your biased narrative?

Oh, and just to add to them and show you why everyone but yourself believes that Fiala has had inferior linemates

Fiala's most common EV linemates in each of the last 3 seasons:

21-22: Frederick Gaudreau & Matt Boldy (Boldy wasn't called up until basically 30 games into the year)
20-21: Marcus Johansson & Ryan Hartman
19-20: Mikko Koivu & Zach Parise

Boeser's most common EV linemates in each of the last 3 seasons:

21-22: JT Miller, Tanner Pearson, followed closely by Miller & Pettersson
20-21: Elias Pettersson & JT Miller, followed closely by Miller & Hoglander (only because Pettersson missed so much time)
19-20: Elias Pettersson & JT Miller

I just took it to mean he understands that Boldy is better than Pettersson and Miller.

Still though, he's only had 27 out of 172 games with Boldy.

With how biased they come off, I viewed it as a win-win-win. They either say Boldy is the best player of the bunch, admit that their statement about Fiala having more help was incorrect, or shut up. I'm a happy camper no matter the outcome
