Description

I expect this offseason to be the first steps into a rebuild, so we aren't completely blowing it up quite yet. I've defined our core as Eklund, Hertl, Meier, and Ferraro. People on the top of our trade list next season include Couture, Burns, Labanc, and Simek.

No real reason for the Leafs to pay a premium like this. They can trade for Middleton and Reimer without moving Mrazek and avoid the exorbitant cost while the cap still works.

Yeah the leafs say no. Middleton is not much better than Dermott, if he is even better at all. So that at best is a wash. A first and 2 seconds is not worth the change for Riemer. Crazy overvalue

Reimer can easily be afforded without dealing Mrazek in the process, all the leafs have to do is send Mrazek down to the minors.

Leafs counter with Dermott + Hutchinson + 2 2nds for Riemer + Middleton + 6th
