before i get some hawks fanboy in my comments saying how hawks don't say yes to the Kubalik trade i agree i wouldn't say yes to it either but imagine your an aging NHL gm and you only look at points now tyson barrie is an offensive god which can pay for kubalik one for one then you add in archi whos really fast and NHL gms heavily overrate and a fifth and you get back the third because gms are gonna overpay for the offensive god tyson barrie that's my justification for that trade then flip the third for brain boom

also kubalik is having a down year he's not the same kubalik from the 2020 playoffs so don't act like he's some offensive god who can play top 6 minutes cause he's not

I'll be the hawks fanboy that tells you we don't say yes. Barrie sucks. Your paragraph trying to justify the trade didn't change my mind. Typically if you need to write a paragraph to justify a trade to the other teams fans before they even leave any comments on the post it's probably not fair....

I hope KD doesn't just look at points. Barrie on the ice yields more points against than for...period.

And nothing up there is worth a 2nd. Barrie has zero value, if not negative. Especially for the rebuilding hawks. Archibald has 0 value, and you're asking us to swap a 3rd to a 5th
