I think it's close enough to a fair deal, slight overpay for the flames but they are loading up for the playoffs so I get it. Good addition by the flames and I hope Jarnkrok does good in a flames jersey.

It's a bit of an overpay but he's a good player. When you factor in the salary retention, it's not really any worse value than the Manson deal.

Edit: also kudos Seattle for finally beginning the sell off

It was an overpayment can't lie but apparently there was a bidding war and the flames didn't want to lose out. Going all in without sacrificing major prospects. Still have roughly 800k worth of cap space if we send down Ruzicka (as much as I don't want to)

A 4th round pick even with retention. Maybe a 3rd if you really wanted but this is to much
