Suppose. I wonder if it does considering how much players owe the league still and large markets had limited or no capacity for 25% of the season. NHL is very much a gate driven league unlike NBA and NFL.

If anything its a conservative add the extra 1M would be a bonus.

I don't think you can sign husso for less than driedger's contract which is 3.5 x 3
