I'd bet you $10 against. I think Crawford gets moved before Panarin. Same cap hit and Darling is waiting in the wings for a lower cap hit. They won't get nearly as much, but them's the breaks.

I could definitely see Crawford being moved. I actually think Crawford to the Flames seems like a reasonable destination. But I think that Crawford is a proven top five or six goalie in the league being paid as the 9th highest paid goalie. Thats saying that Crawford has a good deal, it is still a lot of money though. And I love Darling but not sure its worth paying an unproven full time starter 3/4M when you can pay an elite/or very near elite goalie 6M.

For those of you that think Crawford sucks, screw you guys he's the reason the Hawks won the Central division this year.

You're definitely not getting 2nd rounders for rights on Panik and Jurco. Not even one 2nd for both. Overall though, good plan. I'd move Crawford though, and re-sign Darling. Maybe pick up Budaj or another goalie that had an above average year, like Nilsson.

Tavares would be happy if Snow acquired Breadman. And I like the return of Hamonic as well. As a Hawk, he could play on the left with Hjalmarsson paired on his right! Lol!

I agree that Crawford does not suck and is a great goaltender, i disagree that Crawford will get moved before the Bread Man, Crawford is a big part of the core, and the blackhawks will sorely regret trading Crawford if they do. I agree that Darling should not be the starter for the blackhawks, i do think that he could be a starter for another team though.

Thanks but we got 2 second rounders for Shaw... Panik just had a better year than Shaw ever had and I'm throwing in Jurco. Remember these guys are RFA's so we're not just trading their rights seven days ahead of free agency
