A thousand times no on that Islanders deal. Getting a pick around 25-30 for our best prospect, a starting-caliber goalie, retaining $1M on that goalie(why? Buffalo has so much space here), and, cherry on top, throwing in a 5th? Gotta come much, much stronger for that package.

All three of LA's pieces going to Buffalo are arguably higher value than either of the pieces going to the Kings.

That's gonna be a no from LA.

Everyone says no.

Except NYR. Rangers don’t need retention, but would gladly give a 4th for Eakin and Hinostroza.

I have specifically spoken to each GM in real life of these teams and gotten their insight. Every one of my trades will be made on Monday at the deadline. Just you all wait. After that, I will be announced as the President of Hockey Operations for the Sabres.

Anderson would very likely be our 4th string goalie. No way he gets any NHL action for us this season

Crazy to think how good ratys been once he moved to jukurit. Hes been on pace for 33+ points according to the nhl equivalent model i use in his D+1 season.

All teams say No, but Vancouver says NO loud enough to be heard in Buffalo.

If you can get any GMs to agree to any one of these trades, you should get appointed as an ambassador to the UN.

I was a prospect hound before the pandemic (fell off when everything shut down and am slowly coming back) and remember Raty being thought of as a guy that could easily go top 5 - when I found out he was available for the Isles in the 2nd round, and then they got him, I was ecstatic. Kid obviously had a rough time going through all of, well, everything we all went through but has seemingly come out nicely on the other side. Looking forward to him really getting a chance to shine stateside as soon as he's ready.
