I’d want picks sooner (the 2nd) but I do like the 23 1st

Think we could get better if we trade them separately

As a Leaf fan, I’d say that’s about as far as the Leafs would go for rentals. Also, what was said earlier. Anaheim can get more in separate deals.

I can only see Anaheim doing this if another prospect is included. At that point it would be too much for the Leafs to trade away for rentals.

Fair value, but I dont think Dubas does it. Dubas isnt interested in moving top picks for rentals. If Lindholm had term remaining then he would pull the trigger. I think Dubas is either wanting Gio in SEA or Middleton in SJ

I’ve got BIG hopes for Liljegren. He’s been doing great this year, he’s right handed, and on pace for 30 points as a young D. I feel like trading him now is inopportune, he’s finally getting settled in the NHL.

I feel like trading him for Lindholm is a “grass is greener on the other side” type thing, especially as he’s an LD (and we have a lot of them).
