You definitely can, Oilers owner is at least 3x richer than Ottawa's owner.

There is no deal without kassian going the other way.

then no deal, OTT not taking on 2 more years of kassian at 3.2m without significant compensation

Really? Guy has a career high of 20 points, how is he worth $3M+ to a cap strapped Oilers team? Besides, that trade is atrocious.

Paul is -7.95 GF% Rel this season < Kassian is -2.25.

    Paul is 1.17 P/60 < Kassian is 1.43.

    Paul has 4.77 Hits/60 < Kassian has 14.28.

If you're going to sign Paul to a similar contract, why are you giving up picks?

And throwing Barrie out like a piece of garbage shows just how little you know of player valuations.

The crazy thing about this team is that we got rid of Kass, Barrie, Smith, and $2M from Koski's contract and still all open positions are filled with minimum dollar contracts except $2M above min contract for Nick Paul. It will be work to move Kass, Barrie, and Smith and even signing Koski at $2.5M is not a sure thing. So much for signing Kane or Kuemper, it's going to be tight next year!
