In the spirit of a new thread, I wanted to get some feedback on this:

What’s the worst serious mock trade you’ve ever seen (not just CF, but Twitter, Instagram, etc)?

The worst I’ve seen was a recent mock of Fehervary, Sprong, and Vanecek to Toronto for Holl, Dermott, and a 2023 2nd on Instagram.

Just thinking about Habs prospect pool.. for the future:

_____ - Suzuki - Caufield
_____ - ________ - Anderson
Lehkonen - _______ - Roy
Pitlick - Poehling - Evans

Guhle - Mailloux
Norlinder - Harris

For top line LW: I think the solution is to get a UFA. Maybe hubby want to come here?
For 2C, I'm thinking anything. I like the idea of drafting 1 of Wright, bedard, or Cooley. I like the trade route, and I especially like the ufa route. Larkin? Kadri? O'Reilly? Horvat? Lots of options.
For 2LW: I think we get that from 1 of drouin or Hoffman.
For 3C: I like Dvoark as an option there.
For 1LD: The thing I'm interested in, is trading for 1 of provorov or chychrun, but to do something else, I'd like to instead sign Hampus Lindholm. I'd be interested in acquiring sergachev also.
1RD: I really want the habs to get simon nemec with their 1ST round pick.
And finally, for goaltending I'd Want to invest all my prospects to acquire 1 of levi / knight. In a package that includes romanov + 1st +.
So, in the future (about 3 -4 years)

Aquiring Levi for Romanov + a 1st seems quite bold... especially since he isn't a guaranteed thing.

What would it take for the sabres go upgrade Olofsson to Garland. Pretty much the exact opposite of each other lol.

Things cost alot
What would you theoretically want in a levi trade? 2nd + Romanov?

Oloffson + 2nd + Laaksonen + 4th for Garland seems fair IMO

Not sure we would want Romanov, he might be #5 on our LD chart rn. Maybe Roy or Harris something like that +. Or maybe a first alone, I just don't think the sabres trade him without a guarantee in net yet, UPL would have to perform well.

Romanov has been playing. RD pretty much every game in the nhl. But I get you.

He has. Last year he was playing RD with kulak. Obviously woth injuries he would move up to play with Weber, this year, he's been playing with chiarot on RD, and has been back with kulak at RD. He's very capable of playing RD, and IMO, his game is better on RD
