You’d have to give up Byfield for sure. I would trade the Sens 1st, this year and next plus Pinto and Greig for him

Byfield is untouchable. He wasn’t even going the other way for Eichel. Just isn’t happening

I'm not with you on this one. That's more than I was willing to give up for Eichel. And I'm not a fan of trading Matt Roy, either.

I would trade Shane Wright for Debrincat in a heartbeat if we got him

Idk I mean I know debrincat is the established guy here and elite but man that’s a tough decision. I just think if Byfield didn’t go for Eichel. He’s not going for debrincat.

Id even swap out ****emo for pinelli.

Cat isn't getting traded. Then again I said Hagel wasn't getting traded and here we are so i'll entertain this. Hawks would want Brandt Clarke instead of Turcotte, assuming Byfield isn't happening

What would it take on top of Shane Wright to get him

I’d take this into consideration.

Only thing i'll add here is a debrincat trade and Eichel trade can't be compared in terms of value. Eichel wanted out at the same time that he needed Neck surgery that had never really happned to an NHL player before and also had a NTC about to kick in. BUF had no leverage. Had Eichel been healthy he would have gone for more than he did. Debrincat isn't quite as good as Eichel but he should still return that tye of return, if not a little more

Mhmm i'm not really sure. Maybe Wright and your 2023 1st, maybe toss in some other B prospect. Hard to say exatcly. I would kinda prefer a deal around Sanderson instead though

So it sounds like the high D prospect would be the main piece in a trade for Debrincat. I wasn’t sure of positional needs. I was going to replace pinelli with ****emo or grans. Grans obviously being the D man in the trade

I mean 1C would be the top need but I doubt LA parts with Byfield. I don't see 1C potential in Turcotte. Ideally the D prospect would be a lefty also. In terms of what LA has Clarke would be the piece we would want I would think. Maybe Clarke+Vilardi+pick

I don’t see 1C in Turcotte either unfortunately.

It’s just hard to part with Sanderson. It would make our D corps pretty average longterm instead of great

If you guys got Wright that would work. Pinto/Grieg/picks is less interesting..... although your 2022 1st will be high regardless no matter what

I think Pinto and Greig have high ceilings. Both look like top 6 forwards .

Wait, you say the Kings would have to give up Byfield and then say Ottawa wouldn't have to give up Stutzle or Tkachuk? Lol
