No incentive for the Wild. Krav has little to no value.

I wouldn't be that upset if this happened, but at the same time, I'd probably just rather have the 2nd because I don't think Kravtsov is ever going to figure it out in the NHL.

This would make some sense both ways. Smart idea.

I have a feeling that McBain could end up like Kravstov if he gets traded to NYR, because the Rangers have not been able to properly develop forwards for how long now? On their roster, only 4 forwards have been drafted by the Rangers: Kreider, Chytil, Laf, and Kakko. Kreider is having a career year, in terms of goal scoring and points, but it’s only the third time he has eclipsed 50 points. Chytil is a replaceable level 3C, and there are better options on the market I think, and while he has been good for the Rags, I think they might be regretting not taking Robertson in the first round instead of Chytil. Laf and Kakko have developed very slowly, and both could be the subjects of offer sheets in the next couple of years. Laf is starting to break out, and Kakko was starting to break out but injuries slowed his progress.

Dmen and goalies, NYR can develop like few others, but developing forwards has been a struggle for the Rags for a long time. Then again, McBain could become the next Zib or Strome for the Rags, but the future is unsure on McBain if he becomes a Rag.

I would say Minny is looking for C while Rags are looking for RW, so it’s a funny trade scenario.
