The asking price for Kulak is publicly known as a 2nd. At least offer a 3rd and see where it goes.

eh, the actual dollars aren't as much the issue as being stuck with Zack Kassian would be the "taking on that contract" problem. I'd not LOVE it, but if the Sens moved Watson at the deadline and had Kassian just permanently in Watson's role on the 4th line and never budging from that spot, I'd probably want to take it. Lavoie and a 2nd is hefty

That's not really the point. Lagesson is just a throw in, and Montreal could just let him walk if they don't want him. I definitely doubt he fetches a 2nd, maybe a third. I could see a 4th and another low pick.

If your point is offering a useless throw in on a 4th round pick, it's a bad point.

My point is quality over quantity. Make respectable offer without useless parts or go look somewhere else.
