Don't think just a 2nd is enough and WIld fans demand you guys aern't moving your first. Every other team seems to agree a 1st is fair for flower at 50%, especially in this inflated market and with this few goalie options out there, not sure why Wild fans think they get a discunt.

We don't need a discount, we just know what's on the table or not. Guerin is on record as saying it would take something very special to move a 1st or his top prospects. O'Rourke is in that group, and Fleury isn't "special". If that means we don't get Fleury then so be it, that's how it goes.

Have you not watched Fluery the last two years? The dude won the Vezina last year, and single handedly carries the hawks in every game he plays in this year. He's awesome behind the hawks terrible defence, he would be insane behind the wild. What makes a goalie "special" in your eyes if Flower isn't? Cuz i've watched him stand on his head and give the hawks a chance to win every single night all year. This hawks team probably has 10 fewer wins without him this year

"Special" would be like a young-ish top six center with term. Pierre-Luc Dubois with an extension kind of stuff.

That's fair, i'm just trying to suggest a way the Wild get Flower without giving up their 1st. We know they are interested, lets find a middle ground in value. I don't think a late 2nd is enough for one of the best goalies in the league. Wild aern't the only team in the league looking to imporve in that position. It has also already been confirmed Toronto and Washigton have asked about Fluery as well

I'm sure Guerin would have no problem adding a later pick (3rd, 4th, whatever) or a prospect (just not one of the top group). Maybe both depending on what each piece is.

Few goalie options sure, but how many teams need a starting goalie? What teams is MAF willing to take a trade to? MN also doesn't need any money retained or to send back any dead cap.

If MAF costs too much (1st or a prospect MN doesn't want to give up), then MN's GM doesn't make the trade. It's not what CHI wants for MAF it's what MN will pay for him. If another team offers more then that other team gets MAF.

and what prospect would that be cause i dont see hawks sending fleury to wild (which fleury has stated hell most likely re sign with the team hes traded to) without the wild sending one of orourke lambos or novak if they are not giving up a first

Maybe Mcbain and a 2nd for Flower and you guys can flip talbot somewhere else and recoup a 3rd or something from that

Off the top of my head.... MIN,TOR, WSH, EDM, VGK all make some level of sense

I was thinking McBain would make sense if he'd sign in Chicago. Talbot may need to be included for salary reasons unless the Wild can work out a side deal (VGK? They're playing with salary cap turned off so Talbot having another year doesn't matter).

I have it at MN and EDM.
-WSH has Vanecek playing well enough to not give up a lot for a goalie.
-VGK, well that bridge was burned imo. Plus they already blew their wad on Eichel.
-TOR would depend on if they think Campbell is coming back or not. Just looking at the East it'll be a bloodbath. I think they mostly do nothing this TDL.
-PIT as a wildcard, if MAF pulls a Hall and says "I'll only take a trade here." But it would be for a low return.

I don't know if MAF will even accept a trade to MN or EDM. It's a very good chance both get bounced in the 1st round.

Vegas will put Lehner on LTIR and have the cap space. Toronto most certainly needs to do something imo. Maybe you're right on washington, but that's the same situation as Talbot then, who has won 5 games in a row i think

Yes he has. Talbot/Kahk aren't bad enough for MN to say screw it here's a 1st for a rental goalie.

I don't think MAF takes a trade back to VGK. They were the ones who shipped him of to CHI during the offseason.
