I understand that you play with the fact Marc Bergevin is with L.A GM staff but I'm not sure they would be willing to add both Salary cap and for this price.

First of anything happens with price, Primeau is the maybe futur #1 goaltender in MTL so the only way he's trade is because MTL have another potential #1 and that not something MTL have currently outside of Primeau. So no trade for him at the moment.

Now Gallagher could be a good asset to Kings with Dr.Brown going UFA next year and could potentially retired. Gally would be a good replacement and could be reunited with Danault. Value wise maybe we could reach vilardi and moverare for him but I think is contrat length and cap space remove some of is value. After this year's it's 5 more year at 6.5m to pay which is alot and I don't think MTL would want to retain 50% for the next 5 years. So IF Gallagher would be trade in return MTL need to take a bad contact back to balance.

For Byron he have less value them Gallagher but could be trade more easily. With only 1 year left to is contrat after the current year, he could be a candidate to be trade with retention salary. Maybe could get a good prospect like Vilardi with 50% but I'm not sure of that.

The other thing that we need to think is that when rebuilding / retool you need to have some form of Mentorship and Leadership in a team so if you trade so many veterans out of MTL who would play that role for the young coming up ?
