That Montreal trade is heinously bad for Toronto.

I doubt that gets you Forsberg, or even in the top 5 offers for him.

I think Seattle gets more for Giordano, especially if they retain.

NYI trade is fine.

Ok I take Robertson out of mtl trade to make it less henious for Toronto and Add it to the Nashville trade for forsberg. Does that move the needle?

No, that isn't the heinous part. its building a trade around nylander and anderson.

It can't be fixed

Nylander lazy imo. Anderson true power forward we need that can score and retrieve pucks for Tavares.

I can tell from this post alone that continuing this conversation won't be productive. Have a nice day

No matter what you propose, IF it includes ANYTHING from Montreal Jerry will say it is horrendous for your team. He hates everything Montreal.

MTL absolutely is not trading Romanov, they are relying on him heavily now and he has improved drastically! He's there to stay long term, Anderson is a huge power forward the team had needed for Years so they won't part with him....biggest thing though, the would never do this trade within their division.

You can argue how "heinous" the Nylander trade is for Toronto, but it's legitimately awful for Montreal.

Giving Romanov? Retaining that much on Anderson? Having to take on Mrazek? Robertson being the prospect coming back?

There's just no way Montreal can justify any of that. Outside of Nylander there isn't even much reason Montreal would even consider that.
