Explain to me why the Rangers are making a 3 way trade? Thats an insane cost for Kessel and Anderson.

BUF sends their 3rd + Anderson to NYR for Georgiev, then NYR flip the 3rd to ARI for Kessel.

Georgiev isn’t worth a 3rd anymore. He had 2nd round value coming into the year, but has proven again he’s nothing more then a backup, and not a very good one at that. Don’t care about the trade from above, thinking he gets a 3rd + is wishful thinking at this point.

Actually, if Georgiev proved anything, its that hes NOT a backup and needs consistent starts to play well. Hes not good as a backup in spot starts, thats why GG has recently been trying to play his as much as possible.

@Sabrebluehs Good job. Unfortunately Hagg only return a disappointing 6th.
He is better than Dermott who returned a third, go figure.

...Hes not good as a backup...
Let's use some data to analyze this trade:
    ........................Georgiev .....Anderson
    SV%................0.899............0.904
    Win/loss/OTL.9/9/2...........11/9/0
    rest of team..31/3/3..........11/24/8
    Salary............$2,425,000...$750,000
So Anderson is paid 1/3 of Georgiev, better SV%, has a better record than the team.
Buffalo would not add a third to take Georgiev.
