This is not an upgrade. Why is everyone trying to move Cole? He's exactly what CAR needs come playoff time.

Because Cole is too old/too slow even for playoffs - especially at his cap hit. And both Miller and Butcher (when healthy) are an upgrade over Cole

Honestly, I don't think Cole is as bad as you say. Butcher is ok, He's a 6/7 in the playoffs. If Miller can be healthy at best he's on par, but I'd still take Cole.

Cole just has a lot of miles on those legs. And he isn’t worth the cap hit when you could have both Miller & Butcher. Butcher is a 6/7 Dman but only because its Carolina. And this deal is all about playoff depth
