Man there are like 6 teams buying and 4 of them are in the Atlantic.

Seriously **** this division and the playoff format that will eliminate 2 of them in the 1st round.

Anyway the trade is alright. Nothing crazy either way honestly

Yep, fair deal for both sides. Helps Tampa now, and I think Ottawa will win in the future.

Technically the Atlantic stays the same cause it's an intra division trade.

Holy **** I like this trade.

Joseph couldn't carry his own weight on Tampa lineup, very fast and with good positioning on the ice but with bricks for hands and can't score to save his life.
He was also due for a raise this summer, which we likely couldn't have given him.

Our third line now looks J U I C Y, JBB absolutely nailing it as per usual.

The NHL needed a lopsided season like this. Really gonna expose how big a joke the current seeding is. Back to 1-8 next year imo.

What is Tampa doing? They are going to have a painful rebuild once they stop being good

It's cute that you think the league where the commissioner made fun of its most Important team (financially) over the same thing will change anything this time around

Tampa got a good player in this trade. Sens got a good deal if they weren't planning on resigning him.

I agree Joseph will get a bigger chance in Ottawa plus the 4th but If Tampa pulls of the 3 peat its hard argue that they lost any of the trades they made.

My argument to that is I don't think Paul will be the difference between the cup or not, but you're right. They could trade 10 1sts for Blake Comeau, and if they win the cup, then it doesn't matter.

Joseph been a turnover machine and a frustrating case of "I'm not gonna score on a breakaway, ever".
Now the Bolts third line is great compared to what it was 1 week ago

It might actually take the Leafs upsetting FLA/TBL to make a change. So you're right it's not gonna change

Fair deal, both teams get some good assets, Tampa gets a versatile bottom 6 player and Sens get a decent young guy who Tampa probably wouldn’t be able to afford his arbitration cost
