If NSH can’t resign Forsberg today, is the plan not to move him to avoid risking losing him to FA for nothing? Or are NSH fans okay with taking that risk?

They need him for the playoffs and they can still keep working on a contract all summer, if need be. Forsberg doesn't magically turn into a pumpkin after 3PM today.

If they wanna be competitive this season they need him. IMO he won’t get traded but if he gets traded I think it will be like the Lindholm situation and a team will pay a lot more then though and extend him for a while
