Initial Creation Date: Mar. 21, 2022
Published: Mar. 21, 2022

Description
Feel free to just say no if that's the case. Mostly curious if he's been pushed out a bit by other players stepping up.
Trades
1.
COL
  1. Vrána, Jakub
Additional Details:
Didn't think too hard about the trade. Curious if Detroit would move him.
DET
  1. 2023 1st round pick (COL)
2.
COL
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (BOS)
Additional Details:
It's a scientifically proven fact that Dorion wants mediocre vets and will give up thirds to acquire them, so don't tell me this is a no from the Sens, lol ;)

Haven't really considered that possibility that Vrana would be moved honestly. Given the rumors that Bertuzzi might go I doubt Vrana will. Not sure if Colorado would target Bertuzzi in that case, given that he can't play away games in Canada, especially with the likelihood that Colorado and Calgary could meet in the WCF.

Nope shakes head

He's too much of a core piece to end up being shopped around, considering his age and production with the Wings

I'm really hoping we don't move Vrana so quickly after acquiring him (considering he has been out most of the year with a shoulder injury). But, with Yzerman, anything is possible.

No.

Vrána is being eased in due to his injury absence. He's likely to be on one of the two top lines in the near future.

There's no desire in Detroit to trade him and if there had been the price would be a lot higher than what you're offering. He has 11 goals in the 17 games he's played for Detroit which is higher than any other player on the team.

Noway is Vrana being dealt for a 1st round pick only, Look at what it cost Washington to move him to Detroit. You wont want to part with the pieces it would cost to get Vrana. Start with Girard and add from there.

Those Bertuzzi rumours are false. Bert has explicitly denied them.

The rumors about trade potential or the rumors about him not being able to play away games in Canada? Because Betruzzi missed the three game road trip in Western Canada this week but played in Seattle just a couple days later.

I'm not offering anything. As I stated in the description, I'm inquiring as to his availability. I didn't spend any time on valuation.

If Byram or Girard is in the mix you likely keep Yzerman on the phone but I don’t sense there is any desire to trade Vrana.

The rumour of him "being open to being moved".

Bert was asked about that rumour and directly denied it saying that he had never expressed any such feelings and neither had his agent. He also said that he loved playing for Detroit and would love to play his entire career for us. Google for the video.

For the right price just about everyone is available. But when you have 11g and 3a in 17 games you'd have assume the asking price is going to be quite large.

When all is said and done Bertuzzi will miss 9 games not being able to travel to Canada. I know you aren't offering anything for Bertuzzi but since we are here i do want to say something. As you've seen Detroit doesn't seem to have a problem with Bertuzzi not going to Canada. So I don't see Detroit discounting him for that reason.
