Don't get the whole thing around this average NCAA guy, he'll fit in perfectly with Galchenyuk considering they both have daddy issues.

So Minnesota traded a former third round pick for a second. ... Not even that, the signing rights to a former third round pick for a second. They win this one.
They've also "wasted" four years of development, someone else picked in 2018 would come help them now instead of 2026 but it's a win nonetheless.
I Still don't understand all the fuzz around McBain, hes good but worth an early 2nd round picks in a good deep draft ?
Throwaway pick for the yotes for a guy who could step in and do well now. Take note it's not the Coyotes 2nd rounder, it's Vancouvers which will end up in the middle of the round.
Is that how many days since they've won a playoff round?
Did I mistype something? Still looks to be all you think about
Thread about the Yotes and Wild and talking about the leafs, man if you wanna be a fan just come out and say it

Even better, the signing rights to a former 3rd round pick who flat out said he wouldn't sign with us. He was going to be a UFA if we weren't getting a 2nd back for him. Guerin turned literal nothing into a 2nd round pick.
They had 8 picks in the first 2 rounds of this draft, they could afford it. Him not signing an ELC yet isn't really an issue, his advisors have spoken with Arizona and he's comfortable signing there. Russo wrote about it a few times in the last week or so on how Guerin was handling trading his rights. Easiest trade ever for him, he made McBain's advisors go out and find him the best deal. lol
Thanks for the additional info! Yea, if McBain has already said he'll sign with Arizona this makes complete sense and is well worth the 2nd round pick. You're getting a former 3rd rounder with 4 years of development in college that they apparently think highly of.
