Not confirmed correct, but Hughes was asking for a second rounder and was prepared to hold onto Kulak if he didn’t get his ask. Like the Chiarot deal since this is getting done hours before the deadline, i think we can assume a team net his ask. Also Eric Engels tweeted someone about Edmonton’s second round pick

Braun got a 3rd without retention. Kulak shouldn't cost more than a 3rd.
A 2nd rounder would be an overpayment for the Oilers IMO
