Honestly I think the rangers overpaid for Copp

i love the lindholm move, the brown move made sense. not getting a single forward for depth purposes makes no sense unless you know lysell is playing this year. one injury to that top 6 and we're done this year. which means they either are hoping what they have stays healthy and is good enough, or theyre trying for next year. via the offseason.

any team could have matched what nyr did for copp or what pitt did for rakell.

I just realized Andrew Hammond is injured

Fits right in with the Devils injured goalies

IMO Kyle Dubas has put his job in the hands of an injured goalie (Campbell), injured Dman (Muzzin), a 38 year old Dman, and the possibility of two college players (Knies Abruzzese).

Not addressing the goalie position (a KHL goalie was not the solution) and a true top 6 LW was a massive failure.

I really hope to be proven wrong, eat some crow, beg for forgiveness.

There are 33 pending trades so they might not be done.

If they are, Giordano is a really nice add. He's a legit top 4 defenseman who is a leader and has chemistry with Brodie. Blackwell seems like a solid 4th line centre. Lyubush was a really nice add and it got rid of Ritchie for them.

They didn't need a top 6 left wing.

But I fully agree not doing something with goaltending (I hope there's a last minute goaltending add, but that isn't likely) is a huge miss. Dubas' job potentially is in the hands of Jack Campbell.
