STL should have gone after Chiarot or Giordano even if they cost a bit more.

If this was Nick Leddy circa 2014, then absolutely. Unfortunately, although Russia is invading Ukraine once again, it is decidedly NOT 2014.

Sundqvist is a fantastic playoff player, Walman could potentially be a solid depth defenceman, and Yzerman is a draft whiz.

I didn't hate it when it was made, but after the season he's been having I started to mark it as an L. This trade totally reverses that verdict.
