He's really struggling this year. Up and down due to COVID and all of Murray's injuries, and hasn't really gotten his footing in either league. In fairness to him, he's had some pretty awful team efforts in front of him, but he's also not been good enough in his own right.

How is it that when the Flames traded Future Considerations for McNiven, the consensus was that the Flames lost the trade, but when the Flames traded McNiven for Future Considerations, the consensus was they lost the trade again, even though they were on the opposite end of the deal?
