The team doesn't look better on paper, and I don't think our spec pool is enhanced much - so no.

That’s a pretty weak deal for Garland. Doesn’t fill any of the teams needs

Hell no to the first trade. Wouldn’t mind Kuraly and Roslovic but we shouldn’t trade any more picks.

From LA's perspective, I wouldn't trade Chromiak at all, even for Garland.

Welcome to CapFriendly! Sometimes, it's not too friendly.

Spence or Grans would be a reasonable replacement for one of the right wings. Funny that the Canucks fans would want a center prospect when they traded Tyler Madden to us. We could give them Jaret Anderson-Dolan or Lias Andersson while adding another second or third if that would do it.

Madden’s not gonna be an impact NHL player and Benning and Co recognized that and moved him on. Canucks don’t want your busts like Anderson-Dolan and Andersson. It’d have to be a RHD prospect like Faber or Durzi plus a 1st or 2nd, otherwise I don’t see the Canucks moving him on to a divisional rival. Lastly, touch grass, 18 posts/day and almost 24,000 posts all-time....yikes.

Gotta give up something to get something. Also, fans often overvalue their team’s prospects.
