Melnichuk was never drafted and embarassed himself when he made NHL appearances.

Can't say the same about Morand.

Personally I don't like it - giving up quite early on Alexei but Morand has shown some decent ability. Pretty indifferent on the move but I voted Tampa.

Syracuse needs another goalie besides Lagace. Not a great add, but Morand was one of multiple players rotating in and out of the 4th line. No real loss.

Plus Syracuse just added Riley Nash today.

I like melnichuck and his potential more than morand

Mel has been terrible. Still has upside but he's let in far too many stinkers this year. Poor guy has a tragic background, hope he finds success in Tampa.
