Flyers 2022-23 Offseason

Team: 2022-23 Philadelphia Flyers
Initial Creation Date: Mar. 22, 2022
Published: Mar. 22, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
This is an offseason I believe we could see. I would have liked Cam York to not be on the third pair but I do not think Travis Sanheim would get moved to open that spot up for him. The Flyers also stated that they want to RETOOL and not REBUILD. This makes the Filip Forsberg signing make sense. Giroux im not sure about but it sounds like he would like to come back in the offseason. Let me know how I did.

Does this seem like a realistic offseason for the Flyers knowing that they want to retool and not rebuild?

Giroux wouldn't sign for that low and I think they should find a better partner for York than Benning, but I think this is close to what we could see

We are not in a postion to be agressive this offseason and signing Forsberg does not make sense to me. We need to rebuild and trade players for picks and prospects (like you did with konecny) not sign a player that is in their prime to a 6 x 9 million contract. Plus there has been reports that have come out that Giroux will most likely not return in the offseason especially on that cheap of a contract.

As much as I agree a legit rebuild is probably what needs to happen management already said they're not rebuilding

From a BOS perspective, i think they would be way more interested in a Konecny deal. Just fits the style - If wanna trade for DeBrusk I think BOS would be more interested in working around Debrusk - Konecny swap. I think BOS would add, but I think he would be the better fit. Maybe Im bias but hes a player i wanted them to take in 2015 - Always really been a big fan of his.

That's a deal I would accept as the Los Angeles GM.
