Yeah, Othmann may get a look in Hartford (AHL), as a loan, at the end of his OHL season but don't see him jumping to the NHL for the postseason.
Othmann is just 19 so he wont be eligible to play full time in the AHL next year either, so he's likely headed back to the OHL for another year or maybe Switzerland, hope they don't rush him to the NHL, that has not worked out at the forward position as of yet for the Rangers over the last 5 years.

Kreider was 20 turning 21 when he got signed & added to that 2012 postseason run after his BC season ended & was a more developed product than Othmann is now.
Gallant's a coach that is more comfortable with his veterans, especially in a playoff environment, id also expect more Nemeth/Braun for that same reason on the 3rd pair.

Doubt we see Kravtsov especially if Traktor keeps winning in the postseason but maybe .... they are down 2-1 in their semi-final playoff series.

Man this is a very deep team. I think they should’ve added Strome + De Haan though as well considering CHI was only asking for a 2nd. Could’ve used some more experience on D.

the jump from the O to an nhl playoff race is more severe than the jump from college hockey (players are older, bigger, etc). doubt othmann can make the jump this year but hope you're onto something. Kreider himself was also older

you should come down a bit on othmann, he his gonna be a good player, but would definitly not go #2 in a redraft. he is mot even the best player from that draft in the chl, nor was he considered from wjc. thats all you need to know. Still... he is very promising bit you should keep him away from the playoff is the rangers are serious!

He still needs to bulk up like Laf and Kakko did. He’s playing against boys so it’s far easier to just be a large body without real strength. But he is promising for sure, like others mentioned… 1 more year of development and I see him joining us next TDL/playoffs
