    Sturm will get like 2x2 I think. Minnesota traded him because they didn't want to go higher than 1.5.

    NAK doesn't deserve a raise AND two years.

    This just doesn't work from a long-term perspective - it's sucks but they can't bring everyone back. That Kadri contract would be instant regret and Bura is so streaky while not offering much more. I also think Nuke is looking for more long-term stability; think 5-6 years.

    Sakic isn’t giving Kadri $8M, I think he offers him $6.5. If somebody gives Kadri $8M they are hating that quick. Love Naz, but he went on a heater when the Avs needed him. NAK isn’t getting anything but a league minimum one year deal, and if he doesn’t like it he can walk. EJ for sure blocks that some teams are just guaranteed to be on his NM list and AZ, BUF, and OTT make it period.
